Bio

Roy E McGinty, a transplanted native from Auburn, Alabama has lived in Nashville since 1997.
Through his twenty+ years of living in Middle Tennessee, Roy has an invaluable amount of
personal relationships established within the area. He recognizes the unique characteristics and
benefits of living in middle Tennessee…the people!
As a product of the Tennessee education system where he attended high school, college, and
graduate school, Roy has an academic mindset that he brings to the real estate industry. As a
previous high school teacher and a current high school baseball coach he has learned how to be
patient, detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong advocate for all his students just as he will be for
his clients. Through his passion and teachings of personal finance, Roy has decided to take his
knowledge gained and crossover into real estate and real estate investing.

He is supported by his lovely wife Allie Graves McGinty and their wonderful, adopted son Isaiah Graves McGinty. Allie is a neuro nurse practitioner with Nashville Neurosurgery Associates. Isaiah attends Wilson Co Schools in Mt. Juliet TN.
Roy’s change of career from education to real estate comes from an internal drive to provide his family with security and prosperity for their future. His passion for teaching personal finance
combined with a drive to eliminate generational poverty is proof of why he is going to be a steward for his clients. He understands the importance of the commitment involved when purchasing a home for his client’s pride of ownership, financial security, and peace of mind.

Roy’s propensity for creating lifetime friendships is found in its purest form when it comes to building relationships. He is an active participant in the Donelson, Hermitage, and Mt. Juliet
communities. When not assisting clients, Roy enjoys yelling at Auburn football, rooting for the Braves, divulging in the culinary scene of Nashville, and creating memories through international travel with his family.
